Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Shake

Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Shake makes for a simple and satisfying choice as a snack, post workout smoothie or even breakfast!

This smoothie is super creamy! It is high in protein, healthy fats and fibre as well as antioxidants & micronutrients, making it very filling and nutritious. I love that it can be made so quickly by just blending all ingredients in a blender.

This peanut butter chocolate shake can easily be made vegan if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences. Just note that plant-based dairy alternatives and some other options listed below may contain much less protein. There are plenty of options listed in the recipe- just choose based on your dietary choices!




Serves 2

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ingredients:

-1 1/2 tbsp of peanut butter

-1 1/2 tbsp of chocolate protein powder (I used Vega protein powder)

1 cup of oat milk or plant-based milk of choice

-2 frozen bananas

-1tbsp of cocoa nibs

-1 cup of Greek yogurt**

-Dash of cinnamon


**This recipe can be modified to be dairy-free. Simply substitute with dairy-free yogurt or frozen cauliflower rice. Note that you will lose much of the protein with frozen cauliflower, however it makes a good substitute for a creamy result.

* You can also use cocoa powder instead of chocolate protein powder. This will result in a similar smoothie, just less protein.

1-Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until creamy and smooth. Enjoy! :)
